Joining us on THE SPARKK SHOW, a baseball interview podcast this week is Outfielder Austin Jackson. He Played 14 years professionally. Nine of those years in the MLB for the Tigers, Mariners, Cubs, White Sox, Indians, Giants and Mets. Drafted in 2005 by the New York Yankees in the 8th Round out of Billy Ryan HS in Denton, Texas. The fleet footed Jackson covered some of the biggest outfields in the Major Leagues and did it with an endless skill set and the utmost class.
I’m humbled to bring on someone who I got to watch work every single day and was able to learn so much about what it means to be a pro. I am excited that A Jax gets to come on and share some of the knowledge that helped SPARKK me every single day.
Tune in to hear him talk about the draft process as a high school player, importance of community service, being traded mid game, overcoming injuries and one of the greatest catches in MLB history!
